He is survived by his wife Jo Ann, one son, Robert Dean Engberg, and one granddaughter, Emily Renee Engberg.
A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served in the United States Airforce for 21 and a half years. His rank upon retirement was Master Sergeant.
He worked as an airplane mechanic, for the USAF, at Edward’s Airforce Base, in California.
