Douglas Wayne Cude, 78, of Weatherford, Texas,
passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023. Born
on May 10, 1944, in Cleveland, Texas, he was the
son of the late Marjorie Ernesteen (Howard) Cude and Osa
Cude.
Douglas is survived by his sister, Delores Long and her
husband, John of Weatherford, Texas, and aunt, Loretta
Leeds of Crossville, Tennessee.
Douglas worked in the manufacturing industry. He enjoyed
the peacefulness of being outdoors, gardening and bird
watching; also, Douglas was an avid reader.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 23,
2023, beginning two hours prior to the service, from 9:00
a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel,
913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086;
concluding the visitation, a graveside service will be held
at 11:00 a.m., at Clark Cemetery.
